{"id":1304,"date":"2011-03-28T11:02:17","date_gmt":"2011-03-28T11:02:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/salientsoft.co.uk\/?p=1304"},"modified":"2011-03-28T11:03:58","modified_gmt":"2011-03-28T11:03:58","slug":"eclipselink-error-in-eclipseschema-null-cannot-be-resolved","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/salientsoft.co.uk\/?p=1304","title":{"rendered":"Eclipselink error in Eclipse&ndash;Schema &ldquo;null&rdquo; cannot be resolved&hellip;."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This error came up while building a new development environment with the Eclipse Helios SR2 and Eclipselink 2.2.0.<br \/>\nThe error appeared for every JPA entity, even after the database drivers\/connections were correctly defined.<\/p>\n<p>The simple answer\u00a0 as detailed here is to right click the project and do a validate \u2013 hey presto, all the errors disappear!<br \/>\nThis appears to have been around a while and is still not fixed in Eclipselink 2.2.0, but at least it is simple to resolve.<\/p>\n<p>The tip was found on <a href=\"http:\/\/download.oracle.com\/docs\/cd\/E14571_01\/doc.1111\/e16596\/tlcgd006.htm\"><strong>this Oracle tutorial post<\/strong><\/a> :-<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Note: <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>If you encounter a Schema &#8220;null&#8221; cannot be resolved for table &#8220;&lt;TABLE_NAME&gt;&#8221; error, you&#8217;ve hit a known Eclipse bug.<br \/>\nTo resolve the issue, right-click the project and choose select Validate from menu.
